This is Photoshop. On the toolbar on the right is the tools that i have used. I have used the pencil tool to create the outline of the images as well as colour them in to what they will end up lookinng like. For some of the background images i have used the blur tool to make the image have more detail. I have used the zoom tool so i could complete the characters with more detail. I have used layers for my images as if i made a mistake i would be able to edit the image easily.

Charcter- Hal Chaser- Redesign
I have redrafted my main character from feedback saying that he looks similiar to Fat Tony. I have kept the same colours of his suit but i have changed his facial features and have given him some hair.
I have used photoshop to edit the orginal image so he looks different from Fat Tony so people can tell the difference between them.
I have edited this chracter from feedback from ThomasAndrews(coolname) who mentioned that it would be diffcult to tell Fat Tony and Hal Chaser apart.

Character- Mayor Hagger
This is Mayor Hagger who will be the main target within the game. You can notice that he looks similiar to Fat Tony, this is because they are twin brothers and have been arguing for years. I have also done this character using photoshop using the pencil tool using an image size of 64 by 96 pixels.
As you can see i have added a medal round his neck to make him look more like a mayor of the city.

Objects of the game
There are plenty of objects that will be able to be used in the game to help the player advance through the game. these objects will show up in the game so the player will be able to solve simple puzzles to continue through the game.
This is a box which can be pushed and pulled to fill in gaps which won't be jumpable without the box being there. the box will also helps players get to higher locations in the levels.
This is a keycard which will need to be collected to open doors to continue through the levels.
This is a lever which will be used to activate bridges and turn on lights in some of the levels which will show hidden objects or the wayout of the level. This picture of the lever is switched off.
This lever is what it will look like when it is switched on which activates the bridges and lights within the levels of the game.
This is a checkpoint post which save your progress through the level. This is an image of the checkpoint when it hasn't been walked past.

Background-Sewer
I have created my second background for my game. It is for levels where Hal Chaser will be sneaking through the sewer.

Update- Title Screen
I have started making a Title Screen for the game, it includes burning buildings which also include smoking.

What's Next
As i have created the main characters in the game, i will now start creating some movement sprites for these characters. I will then create images of the objects that will feature in the game so i will be able to know what the game will look like and how it will work.

Fat Tony- First Draft
This is the first draft of the mafia boss Fat Tony. I created this image using Photoshop like the first draft of Hal Chaser.
The first image shows the basic outline of Fat Tony, the second image shows him with colour. I plan to edit this picture show he doesn't have such a box head, as well, I will make him fatter to suit his name.

Game Proposal
My game will be similar to classic platformer games like Super Mario which will have the player controlling the main character while they travel through the levels in the game.
The game will be a fantasy violence which will be completely fictional with the characters, locations ad events not representing anything or anyone. the game will include collectible items that will help the player progress through the level, e.g. keycards, coins. The collectibles will help the player to complete the game to 100% completion.
The game will be for players of 12+ as there will be some violence but will not contain violence of a gorish nature. Even though the game will not contain gore some scenes still may be unsuitable for younger players.
The main goal in the game is to take over the city for the mafia boss called Fat Tony. You will have to avoid a perticular policeman called Sergeant Greg James who has been chasing Hal Chaser (main character) for 20 years when he robbed a bank on his own with no civilian deaths or evidence. There will be a twist at the end of the game.
Character:
Hal Chaser- The character which the player will control in the game. Has been a henchman for Fat Tony for 20 years and done organised crime for 25 years. His biggest accomplishment has been a bank robbery where he robbed the bank without civilian casulities and with no evidence to suspect him of the robbery. He wears a suit with trainers.
Sergeant Greg James- The main enemy of Hal Chaser who has suspected him of the robbey for 20 years and has trying to take him down since then. This has stopped Greg from being promoted and having been suspended numerous times for mental reasons.
Fat Tony- Mafia boss who wants to take control of the city. He has 50 years of organised crime under his belt with him being the boss for 25 years, hired Hal Chaser when he robbed a bank without getting caught.
Mayor Hagger- Mayor of Crim City for 12 years, controls the police to his liking but always follows the rules to stay out of trouble, brother of Fat Tony and has always wanted to get rid of him for years.
Extra Charatcers:
Policeoffcier- Oredered around by the mayor to get rid of all the thugs and Fat Tony before they do more dangerous crimes or try to take over the city.
Thug- Henchman of Fat Tony, ranging from small to large, weak to strong. Fighting with the police for years and do crimes from basic muggings to organised bank robbery. Have been known to attack each other to rise up the ranks.
Backgrounds
City- Destroyed buildings, smoking buildings, buildings on fire.
Sewer- Walls covered in sewage and human waste, shown on levels where Hal Chaser travels to stay undetected.
Town Hall- When Hal Chaser reaches the location of the mayor to take over the city the background will show white walls with destroyed tables.
Gang Hideout- Seen at the start of the game, mostly scrap metal and machines of the factory walls.

Boxes- In the game there is numerous movable boxes that will help the player to reach other wise impossible to reach ledges.
Keycards- used in police locations which the player will need to find to continue through a level.
Coins- used to upgrade Hal Chaser to make him able to hit harder and jump higher.
Levers- Activated to turn on lights or lower bridges to get further through the levels or put the player at an advantage.
Checkpoints- Certain parts of the levels, places Hal Chaser back here if he dies further on in the level.
Sound Effects
Gunfire- Sound heard mostly in background but can be heard in gameplay when player has to evade fire from sniper rifles.
Explosions- Heard in the background but is heard in gameplay as well as gunfire but are shots from rocket lauchers.
Punch and Kicks- noises when player hits enimies.
Screams- background noise from civilians, however, screams also come from enimies when defeated.
Storyline
Beginning- Hal Chaser is ordered by Fat Tony to lead a strike on the city to gain control and put Fat Tony in control of the city. Hal Chaser moves through the city moving closer to town hall and taking out police fortified locations to move the gang forward.
Middle- Hal Chaser invades the town hall but finds out that the mayor has fled town. Hal Chaser puts Fat Tony in contol but ends up getting betrayed by Fat Tony causing Hal Chaser to flee town as well. He is contacted by Greg James who asks him to help him take out Fat Tony to put the mayor back in control.
Ending- Hal Chaser kills Fat Tony putting the mayor back in control but ends up betraying him and Greg James to put himself in control and finally making a name for himself.
